Returns

If you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact us via hello@jchongue.com so that we can endeavour to make you happy. 

Requests for returns or exchanges for retail items must be submitted within three days of your receiving your items. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Planters that have been planted can not be returned.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as plants, flowers cannot be returned without any reasonable reason. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
- Book with obvious signs of use
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is claimed more than three days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Return shipping of items (Change of Mind)

  • Refunds are not entitled for a change of mind, including but not limited to finding the product cheaper elsewhere, deciding the purchase is not liked or there is no use for it.
  • A store credit or exchange is permitted as long as the below conditions are met.
  • Return shipping cost on change of mind will need to be covered by our customer.
  • We are only able to arrange exchange or store credit on the returned/exchanged items once we receive them in the same condition as when they were sent and with original packaging intact and unused (if applicable).
  • Please pack these items as securely as possible, if you can pack them just as they were when you received from us.
  • We recommend not to use Australia Post but a courier company such as Couriers Please/Fastaway etc. (Couriers tend to be a little more careful with fragile items).

  • If breakages do occur during return postage, insurance and claims for the cost of damages will be the responsibility of the customer.
